I’ve been doing a lot of crafts using felt lately and it’s actually a great material for doing different kinds of projects. This one I wanted to share with you is a no-sew felt wallet.
I’ll be using a special glue for felt. But you can absolutely still make this by sewing it up if you can’t find this specific glue.
Make one or two for your use and make some more for gifts, watcha think?
MATERIALS:
Felt
Scissors
Aleene’s Felt and Foam Glue
Pen
Velcro
Draw a donut shape and a swirly glaze outline then begin by cutting them out to use as templates.
Decide the colors of felt you want to use and assign a color for each piece of template. Trace the templates on the felt. I find that a ball point pen works best on felt.
Cut out the felt shapes.
To make the base for the wallet, try to draw the shape below on felt and then cut it out.
Fold it in three.
Apply Aleene’s Felt and Foam Glue on the sides of the felt wallet base. Press it together and clip the sides and leave for about an hour to dry.
Now, work on the donut pieces. Glue the felt glaze onto the donut piece then glue the sprinkles on it.
Once dry, attach the donuts on the front of the felt wallet.
Press the donuts well and wait for it to dry.
Lastly, cut up a piece of Velcro and place a generous amount of Aleene’s glue and attach it to the middle section of the pocket. Place a clip and leave it until it dries.
Once the glue dries, get the other part of the Velcro and attach it to the glued Velcro. When you do it this way, you’ll avoid problems of misaligning the Velcro. Place a generous amount of Aleene’s glue on it.
Fold the flap of the wallet over the velcro, clip it and leave to dry. But you can sew this up if you choose to.

You can now grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the moment spent making and creating. Look what you made!
